I can honestly say I am excited that I had the opportunity to witness and take part in such a historical event. Today, I could feel anticipation running through Temple’s campus. As I walked through campus and the streets that surrounded it, I could visibly see people’s excitement. I arrived early on campus, around 9:00 a.m., and already volunteers were out asking students if they voted and were giving out hand-outs and stickers. With hours pending until one of the biggest presidential elections in history, reports show Barack Obama is ahead in the polls. The Wall Street Journal reported yesterday, November 3rd, Obama was leading with six to eight percentage points. The Online Journal’s poll tracker has reported that Obama has lead every poll in the last month in several important key states.
